Mendenhall Ice Cave is one of the most attractive places in the Mendenhall Glacier. Mendenhall Glacier is about 12 miles long (19 km), and it is in the Mendenhall Valley about 19 km from the city of Juneau in the southeast of the United States in Alaska. There Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, which is part of the Tongass National Forest. This center provides visitors with interpretive programs. Its excellent location offers visitors a breathtaking view of a lake's degree, calving glacier. Annual Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center to visit more than 500,000 visitors to enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

Mendenhall Ice Cave is one of the most unusual caves on the planet. Visitors can enjoy the spectacular scenery there. The ceiling of the cave is painted in a beautiful blue color, from which water for the moment you feel like you are on this planet will not drain.

Dr. Seuss House is located in Willow, Alaska, in the United States (GPS: 61 ° 46'18.0 "N 149 ° 59'28.0" W)
Does the "Dr .. Seuss' House 12 floors, it was built and remained unfinished for almost 10 years, and was finished only recently (2012). The house was named "Dr. Seuss plays" house of the local population of Willow, and as you can see in the photos below, it makes perfect sense

Canada is one of the United States of America, which lies on the northwestern end of the North American continent. The name Alaska from Russia, and it was referred to the peninsula there. The land was owned by the Russian Federation, but in 1876 it was bought by America. In 1959, Alaska the 49th state of the USA. It is the largest state of the United States.

Alaska is a place with many natural wonders. The mountain ranges, volcanoes, national parks, lakes, river streams and much more. Every each of them are unique. The country is not as populated by humans, but for that matter of fact it is rich in diversity of flora and fauna.

The Alaska's largest city is Anchorage, but the capital one is Juneau. In Alaska, people speak English and the Native Eskimo-Aleut and Na-Dene. There are many official languages, of which the main course is English.

This is the largest city in Alaska. It is also a town with 300,950 inhabitants, which is more than 40% of the total population of Alaska.

Juneau Alaska

Juneau is the capital of Alaska. It is 3rd largest city after Anchorage and Fairbanks. The city is named after gold prospector Joe Juneau. Downtown Juneau sits at sea level.

Mendenhall Glacier is a glacier long about 19 km (12 miles) in the Mendenhall Valley. It is located only 19 km from the city center, Juneau.

Russian River

The Russian River is a 21 km (13 mile) long river in Kenai Peninsua in Alaska. The local people call this river Chunuk'tnu Denaina. This river is famous especially for salmon for its fishing.

This national park is in the Interior Alaska and it is on Denali (Mount McKinley), the highest mountain in North America centered. This park is rich with so much wildlife. The diversity of flora and fauna here is so huge.

Caribou in Denali National Park

Caribou is just one of the common Residents who are often seen in this Park. The grizzly bears and black bears, including various birds and mammals are easily caught on tape.

Eagle River is a stream 64 kilometers (40 miles) long in the Municipality of Anchorage. The beginning of this power is in Eagle Glacier in the Chugach State Park.

Morning Mist on the Inland Passage

Inland Passage is a coastal route for ocean-going vessels through the islands the Pacific coast in North America. The Alaska part of this passage is 800 kn (500 miles) from north to south and 160 kn (100 miles) from east to west. It is a perfect place for kayakers and canoeists from all over the world.

Lake Eklutna

This is a great place to the to spend the day or stay overnight. It is only 40 minutes away from downtown Anchorage. A best place where you learn kayaking, cycling on the bike trails or if you wander maniac a perfect place to have the pleasure.

Hubbard Glacier

This glacier is located in the eastern part of Alaska and the Yukon Canada. It is 122 km long. It is believed that the ice at the foot of the glacier is about 400 years old.
