A few years ago, some Russian television and radio stations, and some news houses, decided to bring the seven wonders of Russia. The results were amazing.
Russia known as a country where you can find everything. Known for the great objectives which the tourists can not resist.
Driven by this idea, the effort of these people, with the help of any person in Russia, which in the vote but Internet and SMS could have participated to the end here are the results of the seven wonders of Russia ,
1. Lake Baikal
The Lake Baikal is located in the eastern part of Sberia located and it is considered the deepest lake in the world. It is also the largest drinking water reservoir in the world. The lake is 1,500 meters deep, and the water is crystal clear with amazing blue color.

2. Valley of Geysers
The Valley of Geysers on Kamchatka is located and it is so interesting for the large number of active and attractive geysers. This place is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

3. Mamayev Kurgan memorial
The Mamayev -Hügel built a memorial in the 1950s in Volgograd. The monuments were built in honor of the fallen warriors in World War II. The main monument is part of the Guinness World Records for the largest monument. It's almost twice as big as the Statue of Liberty in New York.

4. Peterhof Palace
This place has been in the order of Peter I built in the beginnings of the 17th century. The Peterhof Palace is located in Saint Petersburg. Due to the abundance of foliage, water, gold and amazing architecture Peterhof is one of the biggest tourist attractions that can be found in Russia.

5. Cathedral of Vasily (Basil's Cathedral)
is in the Red Square in Moscow, St. Basil's Cathedral is recognized by its domes and the colorful facades and interiors. The cathedral was built in the period between 1555 and 1561, in honor of the victory of Ivan the Terrible against Mongols and recalls the conquest of Kazan and Astrakhan.

6. Manpupuner Rock Formations (Seven Strong Men Rock Formations or Poles of the Komi Republic)
No one really knows when these seven stone columns were created, but all scientists agree in one thing - it is a miracle that only nature can. It is believed that the stone pillars were created 200 million years ago, and they are 42 meters high.

7 Elbrus
The Elbrus is the highest point in Russia and many also says that this is the highest point in Europe. Elbrus is a place with tourists and lovers of winter sports and hikers filled. Elbrus rises to 5,600 meters above sea level.
