Jameos del Agua is located on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, (an autonomous part of Spain). The cave was created around 3,000 years ago by the lava flow and it is part of the Green Cave (Cueva de los Verdes) cave system, which is about a mile away. Jameos del Agua is a house (Munidopsis polymorpha), which is next to Jameos del Agua are only found in the ocean depths of about 2000 meters to a particular species of white cancer.
In addition to the cave there is a garden with a large artificial pool, a dance floor and bars, which were built in the rocks
