Semuc Champey (Monumento Natural Semuc Champey), is a natural park in the center of Guatemala. Semuc Champey is a 4 kilometer drive from the city of Lankin is mainly suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles. The park's main attraction is made of a natural bridge of limestone (approximately 300 meters in length). Cahabón River (Cahabón River) runs over and under. The bridge itself has a spectacular series of waterfalls where water flows yearlong in clear emerald pools. Semuc Champey is a popular swimming attraction. The tropical rain forest enclosing the river is a habitat for more than 100 species of birds and dozens of other species of mammals and reptiles. Admission is 50 Quetzal (about 6.5 $ USD) without a guide.
