Crater Lake, USA

Crater Lake was formed by the collapse of the country after a volcanic eruption, it is 2,400 meters high at it's highest point and it is in the western United States, (Oregon) is located. The beautiful blue water in Crater Lake probably have one of the most visited places in the United States.

Oregon is home to Crater Lake National Park, which is a perfect place for day hikes. It is (on average 350 meters in depth) known for its deep blue color of the deepest lake in the United States. The blue waters of Crater Lake reflect the majestic beauty of the surrounding mountain peaks much like a huge dark blue mirror.
Spectacular photographs and splendid panoramas during a trip to Crater Lake National Park are treasures worth keeping.

Crater Lake was due to the collapse of Mount Mazama that formed a volcano in the southern part of Oregon that was once about 3353 meters (11,000 feet) away. The caldera, which measures at 6 miles wide (9.7 km) was formed during a series of catastrophic eruptions around 5000 BC Wizard Iceland is an island that lays right on the western rim of the caldera and was formed Lava eruptions due later. It was in 1902, as a Crater Lake National Park was through the efforts of renowned naturalist- explained William Gladstone Steel.

There are many things to do when you visit Crater Lake National Park. The south entrance is to visit the most popular alternative route to National Park. It is said to be open all year round. Although this entrance you will, together with the park administration directly to the steel Visitors Center access Mazama Village and the Rim Village. During the winter season, visitors are only allowed to go to the edge of the lake and back down the same way. It will serve no plowed land than road. On the other hand, the north entrance only from the early days of June to the end of October, depending on the amount of snowfall on.
