Choose the time and place

As you know, many factors can affect how your subjects looking at the picture. Therefore, if you want to make great photos, you need to pick the best location and time of day. Choose very carefully. Note that the shadow you can make the picture too dark and unattractive. If you want to shoot a family near a tree, make sure not to create its branches shadow on the issues. Consider every detail, no matter how insignificant it seems. It would be better to take care of everything ahead of time, instead of feeling sorry you did not do well at the end.

Note that you probably do not want to shoot on a rainy day when you are looking for something different and effectively, so you better check the weather forecast before you one day and the time for the shooting.

Consider lighting

lighting is important, no matter where you shoot. Even though it sounds funny, you may find it necessary to use flash mode outdoors. Bright sun can ruin the image by creating shadow over a person's face. Flash mode can help illuminate the key areas in the photo. Many cameras offer two options: Fill-flash and full-flash mode. Fill-flash mode is better suited to use on overcast days and when the person is very close to the camera (no more than five meters). Full flash mode is appropriate to use when the subject is far away from the camera (more than five meters). It is important to use flash outdoors because they help ensure that the people you are taking picture of themselves from the background.

The lighting is an important factor when you're shooting indoors as well. Select to take pictures on a bright day when you do not have expensive lighting. Take advantage of the sunlight. Ask people that you are going to shoot, to stand by a large window. Ceiling to soften the light, the window with a cotton cloth or curtain.
