Batu Caves are one of the most beautiful and popular caves from around the world. It is a limestone hill, which has a series of caves and cave temples. It is in the Gombak district, 13 km (8 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Gombak is a district in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. Batu, Rawang, Setapak and Ulu Kelang: It was created on February 1, Gombak is divided to 4 subdistrict 1974th Batu Caves gets its name from the Sungai Batu Batu or River.
Batu Caves are one of the most visited places in Malaysia. The limestone forming Batu Caves 400 million years old. The Batu Caves temple consists of three main caves and a few smaller. There is a wide range of cave fauna as Liphistiidae spiders and Eonycteris and fruit bats. This fauna is unique and can only be seen there. The world tallest statue of Murugan, a Hindu deity, outside Batu Caves, near the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The height of the statue is 42.7 meters (140 ft). Total price of the statue is 24 million rupees.
