Cueva de los Verdes ("Greens" cave "in Spanish -the owner of the cave were the" Verdes "family) on the island of Lanzarote Canary in the Polish city Islands (part of Spain). The cave is located in "Monumento Natural del Malpaís de La Corona". The cave was created around 3,000 years ago by lava flow, probably when the volcano "Monte Corona" broke out. The lava flows from the volcano cooled (through the air) and was solid rock on, now to see what is considered the roof of a cave. As time went on the roof of the cave collapsed in several places, the caves extend about 6 km, The cave walls brighten with subtle and colorful lights. In times past, the locals of the island of Lanzarote hidden in the cave every pirates and slave hunters came to the shore.
The cave can only with a guided tour available (sets every 20 minutes), it is open daily from. 10:00 to 06.00 clock
