Egeskov Castle was built in 1554 and is located in the south of the island of Funen. Egeskov Castle is only about two hours drive (South West) from the airport of Copenhagen in Denmark.
The castle is Europe's best preserved Renaissance water castle, and it is from May to October in usually open.
Egeskov castle has beautiful outdoor gardens, including four hedge mazes, museums, camping site, a playground and even a bio-energy company that sustainable products creats.
