The Eschenheimer Turm (or Eschenheimer Turm in German) in downtown Frankfurt (SW Germany). The tower was initially Built in 1346 as a city gate and was not as impressive as it is today, it was built on many times. Today stands in front of the "NEXTOWER" which rises an office building at 136 meters high. The contrast between the old Eschenheimer with the beautiful and castle-like spire, and the modern NEXTOWER creates an inspiring urban landscape
