Harmandir Sahib is located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab - in the north of India The Golden Temple " (also known but there are 2 more temples in India, which are known as "The Golden Temple" known in Varanasi and Tamil Nadu). It is recommended to visit the temple both in daylight and at night. The construction of the Gurdwara began in 1588 and was completed in 1601, by Afghan invasions the temple was destroyed and in 1760. The temple welcomes men and women from all backgrounds and religions to come and worship restored.
