Trakai Castle (also known as " Little Marienburg ") is a very popular tourist destination in Lithuania, the castle is an "Island Castle" in the Polish city east of Lithuania in the lake Galve (the 21 small-sized islands has). Trakai Castle was built in the 14th century and had several phases was leaving the castle to ruins around the 17th century and for 200 years it remained dormant. In the 19th century a number of reconstruction plans began to take place. - The slow renovation of the structure transforming it into a castle from the 15th century
There is a nice wooden bridge that leads to the island
trees on the island. and the overall look is best in late summer
