Caerlaverock Castle was built in the 13th century in the south-west of Scotland. Caerlaverock Castle was besieged and repeatedly until it was left for the last time in 1640 and was left abandoned in a similar condition, of which there are found today. Caerlaverock Castle is one of the oldest castles in Europe, as close as it was applied for the first time (Caerlaverock Castle kept its distinctive water triangular plan since the 13th century)
