Waterfall Dettifoss is the most powerful waterfall in Europe, it is in the northeastern part of the Iceland It is a 30 minute hike to the waterfall from the car park, the falls are about 100 feet wide and the water drops 45 meters from the Jökulsárgljúfur Canyon, and it's absolutely fascinating to get in a position to such a close look at this powerful waterfall (and also be quite risky to stay away from the edge .. as opposed to the people on the Photos below
