Bayeux is one of the most popular tourist destination, the British and French visitors to the famous Bayeux Tapestry. The legend says that the tapestry was made by Reine Mathilde, the wife of William the Conqueror. In fact, it can be designed and woven in England. It is displayed in a museum in the city center.
