"The Mountain Hotel Schafbergspitze" is on top of Schafberg (1783 m), Salzburg, Austria
Schafbergspitze hotels looks a bit like the Swiss Hotel - "Rigi Kulm Hotel", but surly Schafbergspitze Hotel is closer to the edge of the mountain.
Schafbergspitze hotel offers a great view of the mountains of the Salzkammergut and the lakes in the area. it was built in 1862 by Wolfgang Grömmer, since 1966 the hotel has been run as a family business. Room rates are not too expensive and a bed and breakfast only 48 euros (about $ 65), be sure to take cash with you because the hotel does not accept credit cards.
In the summertime there is a cog railway available (named Schafbergbahn) that starts from St. Wolfgang all the way to the summit and goes.

Here is a link to the hotel website.
