Huanglong is a scenic area in the northwest of Sichuan, China. The Scenic Area is located in the southern part of the Minshan mountain range north-northwest of the capital Chengdu at a distance of 150 km away. For tourists Huanglong is famous for its wonderful colorful pools of calcite deposits, diverse forest ecosystems, snow-capped peaks, awesome waterfalls and breathtaking hot springs formed. Giant Panda and the Sichuan Golden Monkey: Also there can tourists many rare animal species, such as to see. 1992 Huanglong was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
