Before we say anything else, we want to note that Spitbank Fort is a 129 years old sea fort built in the period 1861-1878. Why we show it to you on, and we encourage you to visit them? Now the only reason is because this fortress is now a luxury hotel.
This fort was built in 1859 as a result of the Royal Commission. It is in the Solent in England, near Portsmouth. Serve after many years to the military as of April 2012, by Clarenco LLP (owner of Horse Sand Fort and No Man's Land Fort) owned and has been for use as a luxury spa hotel and renovated retreat with 9 bedroom suites.
