Fortaleza is the state capital of Ceará in northeastern Brazil. It's population is 2,550,000 and the entire metropolitan region of 3.6 million. It is one of the three leading cities in the Northeast in Brazil, together with Salvador and Recife. The history of Fortaleza starts on February 2, 1500, when the Spaniard Vicente Pinzon landed in Mucuripe Cove and named the new island of Santa Maria de la Consolacion. This is just the beginning of a great story Fortaleza to the following events you can always go to wikipedia to read.

The climate in Fortaleza is typical tropical climate. The average annual temperature by the year is 27 C (81 F) with humidity of 77%. The most common trees here are the coconuts and mango trees.

To be in this year FIFA named Fortaleza to one of the host cities of the 2014 World Cup and not make a mistake. It is with great places to visit a big city. The weather is always good for taking a relaxing time on the sunny beaches besides that it's raining, but there's something more romantic then swim in the rain?
