Lone Eagle head stands high above Mirror Lake, it is in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Roosevelt National Forest - (north-central Colorado, USA). To get to the Mirror Lake, you have an 8-mile route (15 mile round trip) along Cascade Creek and the Crater Lake follow (which starts at Monarch lake.) There are some great campsites next to Mirror Lake. (Camping permit can be purchased at the ranger station next to Monarch Lake Trailhead)
