The hotel is located south of Cleveland, Ohio, Cuyahoga Valley National Park was established as a National Recreation Area in 1974 and in 2000 it was designated a National Park. Unlike most national parks, preserves Cuyahoga Valley in the countryside in an urban environment.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park preserves and wins the rural scenery along the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland in Northeast Ohio. The 20,339.22-acre (8,230.99 ha; 31.78 square miles) Park is the only National Park in Ohio. Cuyahoga means "Crooked River" in Mohawk, which is part of the Iroquois language family.
Many visitors spend their time hiking or cycling in the park many hiking trails, easy access to many attractions, including the crushed limestone along portions of the 20-mile (32.2 km) Towpath Trail, according to an earlier portion of the 308- mile (495.7 km) Ohio and Erie Canal.
