Lauterbrunnen Valley is one of the greatest natural beauties of Switzerland stationed in the Alps. Cuyahoga Valley National Park preserves and wins the rural scenery along the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland in Northeast Ohio. The 20,339.22-acre (8,230.99 ha; 31.78 square miles) Park is the only National Park in Ohio. Cuyahoga means "Crooked River" in Mohawk, which is part of the Iroquois language family.

Many visitors spend their time hiking or cycling in the park many hiking trails, easy access to many attractions, including the crushed limestone along portions of the 20-mile (32.2 km) Towpath Trail, according to an earlier portion of the 308- mile (495.7 km) Ohio and Erie Canal.

The Craig Goch Dam is a dam in the Elan Valley of Wales and manages the top of the Elan Valley reservoirs. It is often called the Top Dam. Elan Valley is known a valley to the west of Rhayader, Powys, Wales, sometimes referred to as the "Welsh Lake District".
