KÄ«lauea ("spits / Much spread" in Hawaiian) is an active volcano in the southern part of the Hawaiian Islands, in the United States.

Every once in lava from Kilauea Volcano and enters the sea in a spectacular dance of fire and water. When the lava he enters water evaporates and creates a massive clouds of steam. Slowly but surly the lava forms a Delta, which the coast of Hawaii. Since January 3, 1983, when lava from the current outbreak first reached the ocean through January 2011 (and it is still in progress), Kilauea created about 123 square kilometers of new land
