Ayers Rock (also known as Uluru ) is probably one of Australia's most famous landmarks are located in the southern part of the Northern Territory. Ayers Rock is sacred to the Aborigines, Uluru is the name of the traditional name they gave it, and the name of Ayers Rock was given during the 19th century until later. Ayers Rock is a sandstone rock formation is 348 meters at it's highest point (as big as a building with 100 floors) is totally different from the flat desert like surrounding that makes them look even more dramatic.
