Katskhi column (the locals call it "Pillar of Life") is a huge natural limestone pillars which from scratch and reached as high as 40 meters! It is located right next to the village Katskhi (western part of Georgia).

On the upper side there is a church, and there used to be a chapel, which was built around the 9th century, it was ruined and forgotten until 1944, when it climbed for the first time since it had fallen into oblivion, in 1995 it was restored and rebuilt, today the church of St. Maximus the Confessor
