Rhodes is the easternmost island of Greece. Only 18 miles from Turkey. There are 117,000 people but only 53,709 in the city of Rhodes is at home. The island of Rhodes have much more than a nice sand, clean sea and sun.

The Rhodes is rich with features that are well known as the Valley of the Butterflies and the Seven Springs. Prasonisi place is famous for its paradise for windsurfers and also for lovers of beautiful scenery. There are many monasteries as Campik and offer fantastic views.

The most beautiful bay on the island is Anthony Quinn. The natural wealth of Mediterranean waters hide Luchki Aquarium, Mount of prophet Elijah and Mount Akramitis and Mount Ataviros holds the highest mountain of Rhodes. There are plenty of exciting nightlife. People with different tastes can find their fun.

And let's not forget the fantastic cuisine of Rhodes offers aromas and flavors that you will remember for a long time. This brief description is more than enough to pack your bags and go there and enjoy the summer. Below you can see amazing photos that will blow your mind is to see.

Balos Beach is an absolute gem in east Crete (Greece). Earlier there were pirates in these shallow warm waters and beautiful and for two good reasons, first it is absolutely gorgeous, and the second - it's pretty well hidden and difficult to reach. (Translated from the Greek as "pan"). Always the Balos Beach is also known as the lagoon Balos (Sand way to the small island of a cape in the middle of the lagoon, this cape is named "Cape Tigani" forms reefed take to the beach for some time and a trip to a mountain road (not need for 4X4). Drakolimni (means in English - Dragon Lake). Drakolimni the lakes located in the northwest of Greece Epirus region
According to local legends, the lakes where curbed by dragons and when they fought each other they threw stones and thus created the unique landscape and gave their names to the lakes
Other people think that it is more likely that local newts' similarity with little dragon gave the lakes their name :)

Fira is the capital of Santorini island, Greece.
It is a traditional settlement. "Firá", actually just a mispronunciation of the old name -. "Santorini", last name of Santorini
Most of the houses in Firá painted bright white, which creates an amazing contrast with brown mountain & amp; amp; the blue sky & amp; amp; Sea on the horizon. Fira is a great place for photographers (photographers who are whiling to spend a significant amount of euros for a can of coke ...)

Simonopetra Monastery (Greek for "Simon Rock '), is an Eastern Orthodox monastery in northeastern Greece (near mt. Athos on the Athos peninsula).
Simonopetra monastery located on top of a huge rock built about 330 meters above sea level. The monastery was restarted bulit in the 13th century, since it was burned to the ground several times, and almost in abundance, the structure there are now rebuilt in the late 19th century, and it is . still pretty spectacular, this day

Navagio beach. (aka: Smugglers Cove, Shipwreck Beach) is Zakynthos, in the north east of Greece to the shores of the Mediterranean situated
The beach offerrs a spectacular view of the blue and crystal clear (near Mount Athos on the Athos peninsula.) water and the whole scene with the dramatic sheepwereck right in the middle of the beach looks like a painting or simply taken from a fairy tale

The Meteora (which is etymologically fairly close to the word - "Meteorite") is a very large & amp; amp; important Orthodox monastery in Greece. the Meteora monastery is actually composed of six monasteries that dramatically on sandstone rock pillars that were built up in the sky.
The Meteora monastery is not far from the river and Pineios Pindos Mountains, in central Greece. The nearest town is Kalambaka
