Appiano (also known as Castel d'Appiano) is a medieval fortress (a hill fort) and South Tirol (northern Italy). The castle is situated on a steep cliff above the city Missiano. it is believed that it was built around the begging of the 12th century. The fort offers stunning views and great breeze.
