Named one of the seven smartest cities in the world (yes, the world), this city knows definitely how to attract the right amount. You want to Columbus and not sure how to spend your days in Ohio's capital? Use this list of five Columbus hotspots, and to plan your journey ahead:
1. Short North District
Take to spend the day, through the Short North District. Located just north of downtown and south of the Ohio State University, central location of the district is not the only thing it has to offer.
Known for its numerous galleries, shops, restaurants and nightlife, The Short North has something for everyone. If possible, try during Gallery Hop, an evening to go dedicated new gallery exhibitions, street artists and food and drink. The Gallery Hop occurs on the first Saturday of each month. Notable places in the district are trying include Northstar Cafe for breakfast or lunch, Da Levee for Cajun and Barley's Brewing Company for a beer, just to name a few.

2. Topiary Park
Go after Georges Seurat's famous painting, A Sunday modeled by Topiary Park on the island of La Grande Jatte. In the 1990s, the sculptor James Mason, the sculpture in Columbus teaches new Seurat's original scene with sculpted bushes. The application of this method led to a recovery, the boats, a monkey, a cat, 54 persons includes, and a real pond be used to represent the river. The conveniently located in downtown Columbus, this park offers the perfect urban escape.

3. North Market
You can spend an afternoon or enjoy lunch at the North Market. This extensive indoor / outdoor market is home to over thirty merchant stalls that to floral decorations and artisan ice cream Indian grocery stores to sell everything from fruit. Fan favorites include the ice at Jeni's, the Polish pierogis at Hubert cuisine and Bavarian pretzels with pretzel. No chance, restart this local hub hungry.

4. Columbus Museum of Art
Browse the Columbus Museum of Art's collection, featuring the works of French impressionists, German expressionists and modern 20th century American and European artists. Permanent collection of the museum displays works by renowned artists such as Hopper, Matisse, Renoir and O'Keefe. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, who presented folk art, contemporary art and photography.

5. Arena District
If you're looking for a night in Columbus, then look no further than the Arena District. During hockey season, you can catch a Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena and year can you dine and drink in the surrounding restaurants, bars, clubs and. The bars and entertainment venues in the area attract local talent, live bands, DJs, and national acts. Every night is a night in the Arena District.
