The capital of the United Kingdom has settled more than two millennia. Its history dates back to Roman times when it was called Londinium. This metropolis leaves no one indifferent. London is the largest city in Europe, a city of diverse cultures, blend of tradition and modernity. It is also rich in cultural and historical sights. Every day thousands of tourists enclose attractive destinations.

Trafalgar Square in London is not only the most famous square of the capital of the United Kingdom, but also inevitable tourist attraction. It is built in the City of Westminster and around the area with the name Charing Cross. The place is crammed with various statues and sculptures. In addition to the four recognizable lions guarding the center of the square known as Monument Nelson's Column, the four edges of the square used with sculptures stone bases. Specifically, three of the four bases sculptures, original monuments of historical figures in the 19th century, while the fourth, has in recent years become an attractive location for a variety of projects, especially with artistic character.

As I mentioned in the square there are four bases for statues. General Sir Charles James Napier, Major General Sir Henry Havelock and King George IV, these bronze statues. The fountain, the statue of the blue tail, the pigeons on the grass places , make the Trafalgar Square an irresistible target. At the same time controversial modern art, which takes the place of its status as the heart of London to hold.
